THE SOUL GARDEN, about connection…

The garden is undoubtedly a place of the soul, in literature there is only the embarrassment of the choice on the number of works and quotations that refer to the garden as a metaphor for life. “The first evidence of the existence of ornamental gardens are the Egyptian murals of 1500 BC: they represent ponds covered with water lilies and lotus and surrounded by rows of acacia and palm trees. There is also evidence of a tradition of gardening with Persians : we find citations of a “garden of paradise” which belonged to Darius the Great and the hanging gardens of Babylon were considered one of the seven wonders of the world. “This is to say that being lucky to live in a place with a garden provides the possibility of getting in touch with nature, with plants and flowers, soil, even if you live in the city, really, is fortunate. I have been living in this place for a few years, when I arrived it was in very bad condition, and slowly I started to make it a more welcoming place. I witness how the cycle of nature, with its times, its dynamics, can always be a great lesson. If you love nature, if you talk to a tree, to a plant, if you care about it and understand when it needs something, and you believe it, if you give affection and caresses, well nature responds to you. If you then apply this concept and rule on a proportional scale, then it becomes easier to understand why the climate and mother earth are getting pissed off.
