ABOUT

Born in Uccle, Belgium, in 1970, my relationship with images began at the age of fourteen through a workshop-based education shaped by observation, technical practice and hands-on experience. After graduating as a Film and Television Operator at the “Roberto Rossellini” Institute in Rome, photography gradually became my primary language — a continuous field of research between aesthetics, storytelling and experimentation.

Over the past four decades I have worked across the main areas of professional photography, including fashion, advertising, still life, portraiture, landscape and cinema. I have collaborated with international maisons and brands such as Valentino, Bulgari and Etihad Airways.

From 2015 to 2020 I worked steadily within the film industry, an experience that strengthened both my narrative approach and my ability to operate within complex teams while maintaining a personal and conscious visual perspective.

I have collaborated with national and international film productions, contributing to titles such as Waiting for the Barbarians, Lamborghini, Bent and Black Butterfly, working across still photography, backstage documentation and video content production within large-scale sets and structured crews.

Alongside photography and video, I continue to develop a parallel practice in artistic woodworking. Through the recovery and transformation of discarded materials, I create monoblock wooden frames and furnishing modules for interior and exterior spaces. For me, wood is a living material — capable of preserving memory and entering into dialogue with the photographic image.

Since 2020 I have been based in Sardinia, in the Gallura region, where the landscape has reactivated a deeper connection with nature, slower rhythms and a more essential human dimension. From here I continue to work on national and international projects, bringing together photography, video and craftsmanship within a coherent and personal vision.
